Nam Kat Yorla Pa in Oudomxay, Nong Khiaw, Muang Ngoi and Luang Prabang
In Nam Kat Yorla Pa I had a comfortable room with a private balcony overlooking the stream. Marvellous scenery and many activities available - we booked the trek to the waterfall through the jungle and walking on sky bridges. A small but scenic waterfall followed by the excitement of the 9 zip lines - I was impressed by the safety precautions taken by the two Nam Kat Yorla Pa guides.
Both Mr. Bounlang and Mr. Bounthieng drove carefully and confidently with consideration for other road users as well as their passengers. During the longer journeys we stopped to see local craft villages and beauty spots. Mr. Bounthieng's very thorough local knowledge was self evident throughout the trip.
Mr. Bounlang has a very sound knowledge of Luang Prabang in depth and made many good suggestions for possible visits - including the Buffalo Farm, a Hmong village, Kuang Si waterfalls, the colourful Hmong New Year celebrations, Ban Chan Neua pottery village and the night market. I have been to Luang Prabang before and I have always been looked after extremely well by Mr. Bounlang.
I did not feel rushed at any time and thoroughly enjoyed my holiday; I am already looking forward to my next trip to Laos when I will certainly book Minivan Luang Prabang again.

Luang Prabang, Kuang Si Waterfall, Nong Khiaw, Muang Ngoi and Pi Mai Laos.
A great holiday seeing round Luang Prabang during the Water Festival Pi Mai time - processions, dodging the water throwing, seeing the Pra Bang beig taken to Wat May in a marvellous gold carriage, watching scenes from the Ramayana. Add to that a great visit to Nong Khiaw and boat trip to Muanng Ngoi stopping to walk to the Tad Mok waterfall. Up early to the Nong Khiaw view point. Throughout the holiday I was wonderfully looked after by Lang, Mr. Bounlang - including taking me to hospital when I had had too much sun! Lang could not have been more solicitous, making sure that all my hotel bookings worked and his driving was cafreful and considerate - I felt very safe in his hands.
