Enjoy a spectacular tour through Konglor Cave.
An adventurous boat journey of 7.5 kilometres along the Hinboun river
through solid rock - an unforgettable experience.
Konglor Cave, also known as Tham Kong Lo, is a karst limestone cave in Khammouane Province, about 310 kilometres travelling east from Vientiane.
The boat ride through the 7.5 Konglor Cave is a unique experience. An exciting journey by motorised longboat in the dark cave system, expertly navigated by your local boatman.
Kong Lor Cave, Tham Kong Lo, is full of surprises - spectacular limestone formations, huge caverns - sometimes as high as 90 metres, a bright emerald pool, sharp bends.
At one point you will leave your boat to see a lit up section of the system; you will be able to appreciate the remainder of the system using miners' lamps on your helmets. At the end you emerge into a green valley in the Phou Hin Bun National Park.
